Newcomer of the Year 2011 - Hyosu Kim

E-mail Print
The London Frontrunners Committee had great pleasure this week in awarding the 2011 Newcomer of the Year award to Hyosu Kim.

Hyosu, who has been studying in London for the last couple of months, has made a huge contribution to the club. In particular, his determination to stick out all that mud and rain to become one of our most dedicated members of our men's cross country team.

Derek Clark, LFR Co-President, presented Hyosu with his prize at this week's Monday night run to a great round of applause from members.

Having completed his studies, Hyosu has sadly now left us to return home to his native South Korea.

We'll miss you Hyosu, but we wish you well!

I didn't feel it was marathon weekend, and the owner of my B&B looked right through me with incredulity when I said I was in the city for the event.
